Become a Somners Supplier or Service Provider
Somners works with a carefully selected network of trades, property stylists, photographers, videographers and other external professionals who provide specialist support in the preparation, presentation, maintenance and marketing of property. They complement the services delivered directly by Somners, including our own extensive internal media production capabilities, and may also be engaged where larger-scale shoots, multiple locations or particular production requirements call for additional crew or resources.
We already have preferred suppliers across a number of areas, but we are always interested in hearing from exceptional businesses and professionals who believe their work meets the standard expected by Somners and our clients.
Our Standards Are High
The businesses and professionals we engage may work alongside Somners on property campaigns or provide services directly to our clients, so the quality of their work, professionalism and reliability matter.
For that reason, we do not select suppliers simply on availability or price.
We look for consistently high-quality work, reliability, professionalism, excellent communication, attention to detail and a strong understanding of the level of service expected when working with property owners and prospective buyers.
Where relevant, suppliers must also maintain appropriate licences, qualifications, insurance and safe working practices. Somners also operates in environments where a high degree of security, confidentiality and discretion may be required, and suppliers must be capable of working appropriately in those circumstances. Relevant security-related qualifications, licensing, clearances or demonstrated experience working in sensitive or controlled-access environments may be regarded favourably where applicable.
Being approachable and easy to work with matters, but so does consistency. We need confidence that the standard demonstrated when a supplier first approaches us is the standard our clients will continue to receive.
We already have established relationships with preferred suppliers and an enquiry does not guarantee appointment, preferred supplier status or future work. Different properties and campaigns may also require different specialists.
Property Photography and Videography
Our expectations for property photography and videography are particularly high.
Visual presentation is often one of the first interactions a buyer has with a property. We look for photographers and videographers with a strong understanding of architecture, interiors, natural light, composition, scale and the way buyers visually experience a property.
